The First Chapter

The book "The Law of Attraction" isn't divided into chapters. I didn't realize that when I made that goal yesterday of reading the first chapter. So I read a few pages.
It was mostly a review of the things I already know. No exercises to try so far.
However, on my way to the library yesterday I started reading a book I had checked out that I was returning but had never read. It was very interesting. So I didn't return it and continued reading it.
It's called The Second Circle and I think I'm going to have to buy it. It's full of exercises in learning to be present and live in the now. I believe it will fit right in with my POI, LOA experiment.
As I do the exercises I'll let you know how it goes.

Setting Goals

I hate setting goals. Because then I don't do them and have guilt.
To do lists are a bit better. They don't seem to have the same imperativeness to them.
I've decided to make daily to do lists. And set some goals.
Because I'm not going anywhere right now without some direction. From Alice in Wonderland, paraphrased--If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.
On my to do list today, re-read the first chapter in Law of Attraction and if there is an exercise, then do it.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Law of Attraction

That's actually the title of a book I bought at Costco close to a year ago. The Law of Attraction. It claims to take the ideas of The Secret and put them in a form, with exercises, to enable me to implement them in my life.

A practical form of The Secret, I guess you would call it.

It doesn't work if you don't read the book and then try the exercises. So that's the next big thing on my list of stuff to do.

Start the book. Do the exercises. Blog the results.
